Medication Refills
Medications will not be refilled outside of business hours including nights and weekends. You must allow 48-72 hours for refills to be processed. It is your responsibility to request a refill in a timely manner or let your provider know when the next refill is needed at your appointment. We have the right to refuse refills at any time.
Emergency
In the event of a psychiatric emergency please go to your local Emergency Department for assistance or call 911.

Fees & Insurance
We encourage you to verify benefits with your insurance prior to your appointment. You are also encouraged to call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask what your mental health, outpatient, office visit benefits are. You will be asked to use an up-to-date credit or debit card for all co-pays or outstanding balance. You will be fully reimbursed if you are ever overcharged.
If you have insurance coverage that we are not currently working with, and you would still like to schedule an appointment, you’ll be expected to pay the full fee at the time of the session. Please call the office at 319-505-5602 to determine out of pocket expense for appointments with the provider or therapist.

Cancels & No Show Policy
Integrative Minds require at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. Please contact the office at 319-505-5602 to cancel or reschedule appointments.
Appointments which are no-shows, canceled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice with Integrative Minds will be charged a $75 fee which is not covered by insurance.
If you are more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled appointment, your appointment may be canceled. Integrative Minds accepts cash, check and all major credit cards. Co-payment is required at the time of your appointment. Also accepting private pay and health savings accounts. Please contact us to discuss rates.
Dismissal Policy
Integrative Minds reserves the right to terminate treatment under the following circumstances:
If a prescription drug contract is violated during your treatment, any suspected prescription medication abuse or undisclosed substance abuse, our services are no longer beneficial for you, if there are frequent cancellations, no-shows and if you or a family member are inappropriate or aggressive in any manner.
